Vortex is a thriving digital eCommerce agency in the heart of Leeds. Vortex is part of a group that encompasses three separate entities (all operating in the eCommerce sector) which the successful candidate will assist.
We are based on the Headrow Leeds in an open place office and also have another floor for recreational space. We are looking for a part time accounts assistant/ bookkeeper that could develop into a permanent role as the company grows.
The role will consist of;
Reconciling the bank account and feeding information back into Xero.
Communicating effectively with our Accountants and assisting with the collation of information to present to the accountant for the annual returns.
Processing receipts and expenses and chasing/reconciling payment from clients.
Communicating with clients and internal team members.
Managing the invoices of the company including company expenses.
Billing clients using our online payment systems (XERO/ GoCardless).
Petty cash reconciliations.
Experience of Xero (essential)
Experience of Sage (preferable)
Experience of excel (preferable)
2 years industry experience minimum
Can communicate effectively both verbally and written
Punctual, courteous and affable
About the opportunity;
The role will be for 2 days a week, working in our Leeds office
£100 – £120 per day DOE
Flexible start and finish, it is an 8 hour day with one hour lunch. You may start anytime from 7:30 am – 9:30 am and finish from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
